I am still working on getting my Etsy store setup. I tried the obvious name, SplashOfColorYarns, but that wasn’t available. I contacted Etsy telling them I didn’t see a store with name and they told me it doesn’t reuse past store names or allow names that match one of their user IDs. Therefore, my store name will be SplashOfColorYarnsUS.
While I’m getting that set up, I decided to chat with my friend, Lindsay Potter, who is the owner of the Yarn Garden in Charlotte, Michigan. She agreed to sell my yarns and I made my first delivery of 16 skeins to her his last Saturday.
As I was leaving work yesterday afternoon, I glanced at my emails and she announced on Facebook her new arrivals, which were my beautifully arranged yarns, along with my newest free design, A Day at the Pond Cowl and my friend, Jean Story’s, beautiful new project bags in three sizes. Jean also sells her bags on Etsy here.
It was very exciting to see our items in a real “brick and mortar” store so I wanted to share the photo and news.
