Anyone for tie-dye?

I got new Jacquard Acid dye colors last week and I love hot pink and turquoise so I decided to do some dyeing using a “resist” technique.  The result? Wow….

I have not decided on the name of this yet but I’m eager to knit with it.  I plan on making this Dropped Stitch scarf from Frazzled Knits.

Help me name this…

I dyed two skeins of yarn on Sunday and loved all the colors that resulted! Sometimes the color way name “speak” to me and I know what to call it but I’m stumped on this one.  I was thinking “Dragonfly” but I was curious if you had some suggestions.

What I find so interesting is how different the yarn looks when it is turned into a cake of yarn.  The result is short little blips of color which I’m very eager to turn into a cowl.  I’m thinking about searching for an interesting stitch pattern and just cast-on using a stretchy bind on and joining in the round and work until I run out of yarn.  This skein is 438 yes of fingering weight yarn so I should have enough for a nice sized cowl. Of course, the cowl will be a future post so you can see the result!
